Power Generation
The Power Generation industry has always attracted the latest in material science. This is especially true in more modern times as there is more pressure on power plants to increase wear protection, service life and of course reduce safety risks. Confidence must be accomplished in critical components which have to operate against simultaneous wearing mechanisms.
Valve components are perfect examples of such critical components. Stellite® 6, Stellite® 12 & Stellite® 21 are commonly used to hardface these components.
